Criminal Justice students can complete an Associate in Arts degree at HCC including Criminal Justice courses then transfer to another institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Career opportunities include positions with federal, state, and local correction and law enforcement agencies, juvenile delinquency programs, and private security firms.
The Associate in Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice program is for students who want to work in law enforcement upon graduation. The program provides a foundation for immediate employment as well as potential career advancement later. Employment opportunities exist in state and local police, highway patrol, private security, courts, and corrections.
