Constitution Day
published September 17, 2020Constitution Day is Thursday, September 17. Highland Community College typically celebrates this every year, however, Covid-19 has put a crimp in the usual celebration. The video below shares how the Constitution relates directly to Native American’s in the past, present, and future.
The presentation was created by Lance Foster, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska, and Lance is the current Vice-Chair of the Iowa Tribe as well.
