After careful consideration and changes to CDC guidelines, Highland Community College has decided to allow a limited number of parents, family, and/or friends to attend the graduation ceremony on Friday May 21. Each graduate will receive 2 tickets to give to their guests. Your tickets are available in the registrar’s office located in the Dave Reist Administration Building. You must show a student ID or Driver’s License to receive your tickets. We do ask that all guest wear a mask and social distance.
Additional guests are welcome, but they must utilize the football stadium seating. Graduation will be broadcasted on the jumbotron.
In the event of rain, outside guests will be directed to the Wellness Center.
Doors to gym will open at 6:30 for guests. Guests must have tickets to enter gym.
Highland Community College Commencement ceremony will be May 21, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in Ben Allen Fieldhouse in Highland, Kansas.
The Commencement will also be live streamed on the jumbo screen located in the Porter Family Stadium for family and friends. Please follow social distance guidelines by wearing a mask and remaining 6 feet apart while viewing the ceremony.
After the ceremony, graduates will proceed through the north door of the fieldhouse and greet family and friends in the parking lot south of the Porter Family Stadium for a light reception of cookies and punch.
