Prudden Named Highland’s Bruning Award Recipient

During the 2015 commencement exercises at Highland Community College, Highland President David Reist recognized Christina Prudden, Medical Office Assistant (MOA) instructor at the Technical Center in Atchison, as this year’s recipient of the Bruning Award.  An annual award from the HCC Foundation for faculty development, the Bruning Award is made in honor of Herb and Emily Lucas Bruning who were founding members of the Highland Community College Foundation Board of Directors.  Prudden will be using the award to enhance her online instructional skills as she helps develop an agreement with Mosaic Life Care to provide coursework leading to completion of the MOA program for Mosaic employees.
