Holly Wilmarth, an outfielder for the Highland Community College softball team, is off to a hot start in the new season. A freshman from Maryville, MO, Wilmarth is currently batting .600 with five home runs and 12 runs batted in as she helped the Scotties go 4-2 on the week. Highland’s only losses came at the hands of Iowa Western, which is ranked No. 11 in the latest NJCAA Division I softball poll. Wilmarth added three doubles, two triples and scored 10 runs on the week.
