The National Junior College Athletic Association recognizes student athletes each year from its various membership institutions as “NJCAA Academic Student Athlete Awards” who have met the following requirements: completion of three semesters of coursework, forty-five semester hours of credits, and participation in at least one season of a sport’s program with a GPA of 3.6 or above.
