On the heels of three Highland Community College softball players signing to continue their playing careers with Emporia State, head coach Heidi Jordan has shared where other members of the team will be continuing their playing careers.
Morgan Balderas (Wichita) - Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ (Division I)
Barb Billingsley (Ralston, NE) - MIAA champions Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO (Division II)
Faith Cain (Omaha, NE) - Syracuse University. In addition to signing to play at the NCAA Division I level, Cain was accepted to the Newhouse School of Sports Broadcasting, part of Syracuse’s prestigious School of Journalism. She is one of just over 300 applicants accepted out of the 4,000 who applied.
Lauren Crouch (Bellevue, NE) - University of Louisiana Monroe (Division I)
McKenna Davis (Olathe)), Katy Nordman (Augusta), Annie Rockley (Raytown, MO) - Emporia State University (Division II)
Katie Lackner (Basehor) - St. Mary's University in Leavenworth, KS (NAIA)
Martina Lackner (Leonding, Austria) - returned to Austria and is on the Austrian National Team competing in the World Championships in Surrey, B.C.
