Highland Holds Hall of Fame Induction

Highland Community College held its Athletic Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies on Sunday, September 15, in the Walters Wellness Center on the Highland campus.  With approximately 175 people in attendance, the College inducted Clarence “Fuzz” Lewis, former football, basketball, and track standout; Glenna Batchelder, former volleyball coach and instructor; and Marty Allen, a former football, basketball, and track athlete at the College, as well a former football and women’s basketball coach at HCC.

These inductees demonstrated outstanding athletic achievement, coaching, and other noteworthy accomplishments in the athletic programs at Highland Community College.  Following a luncheon, the inductees were introduced at halftime of the Scottie football game where a reception was held in their honor.  Plaques honoring the inductees will now hang in the Athletic Hall of Fame wall in Allen Field House.
