Highland Hires Hunziger

Lucas Hunziger of Basehor, who is currently the Industrial Technology Instructor at Easton USD 409, has been hired as the Director of Technical Education by Highland Community College. Hunziger will be located in the HCC Technical Center in Atchison.
A native of Atchison and graduate of AHS, Hunziger holds a bachelor’s degree in Technology Education from Pittsburg State University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Benedictine College. He is a member of ITEA and SkillsUSA, technology-related educational organizations. Hunziger will begin his new duties with the College on June 1.
