Highland Community College Students Join Collegiate Honor Society Group

The Alpha Zeta Gamma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa welcomed 26 new members during a special induction ceremony at Highland Community College on Monday, March 25. The group gathered in the Jack D. Nutt Math/Science Building prior to the induction for a dinner and fellowship.

 

The mission of Phi Theta Kappa, or PTK, is to recognize academic achievement of college students while providing opportunities for growth as scholars and leaders. The honor society boasts 3.5 million members both in the United States and abroad. To be eligible for membership, students must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher and have taken at least 12 credit hours from Highland Community College.
