Student Honors Art Exhibition on Display at Highland Community College

The 39th annual Student Honors Art Exhibit at Highland Community College will be on display from April 25 through May 16. The Exhibit will open with an artists' reception on Thursday, April 25, from 6 -7 p.m. in the Yost Gallery to celebrate the accomplishments of the art students. HCC students, staff, and members of the community are encouraged to attend to show their support.

 

The exhibition will showcase work by students who have taken art courses at Highland over the last calendar year. The annual juried exhibition is open to students of all disciplines, campus-wide. The visual arts faculty juries the exhibition and issues awards based on technical proficiency, creativity, and the potential for growth within the visual arts.

 

The Student Art Exhibit features work in a variety of disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, printmaking, design, and digital media.
